We strive to create a warm, nurturing environment that promotes exploration and growth for our infants and toddlers and a place for their adults to share common joys and challenges.

Facilitated by our early childhood educators, children will play alongside their peers and adults while participating in hands-on activities in a toddler-friendly classroom.

Our Toddler Program is designed to be a gentle introduction to preschool. The basic structure of the class is activity time, clean up time, music and story time, and opportunities for motor development indoors for our Tiny Toddler Class and outdoors for our Toddler Group. Jewish Holidays will be celebrated. Children attend the class with a parent or caregiver. Our infant-toddler teachers are highly experienced early-childhood educators.

Toddler Class (14-22 mo) 9:30-10:45 AM
Tiny Toddlers Class (8-14 mo) 11:30-12:30 PM

Wednesday:
Toddler Class (14-24 mo) 9:30-10:45 AM
Tiny Toddlers Class (8-14 mo) 11:30-12:30 PM

*Add on Shabbat and Me on Fridays from 11:00-11:45 before September 1st and lock in an early rate for the semester or year.

Monday classes will start September 15th and Wednesdays will start October 22nd. There will be no class Rosh Hashana or Thanksgiving Week (9/22, 11/24 and11/26).

What do you hope to gain from the SPFC Toddler Program?

I give my permission for the Sutton Place Family Center and Kaplan Nursery School to use images/ videos of my child taken in class. These may include print materials, the Sutton Place Family Center website, KNS website, SPS website and social media. Children will not be identified by name.

Health and COVID-19 Policies

Full Health Policies will be sent September 2025.
The adult and child attending class must be in good health.
Everyone attending class must have age appropriate vaccines based on NYC DOH guidelines.
Indoor shared spaces will be cleaned between each use.
Classrooms are outfitted with high quality air filtration systems.
We will be closely monitoring the CDC, NYS DOH, and other guidance with our health committee. Precautions put in place will be dependent on the climate at that time. All COVID policies are subject to change.

General Waiver

I understand that this program will only be offered if the minimum number of participants is reached. There will be no refunds or make-ups for missed classes.

By acknowledging and signing below, I am delivering an electronic signature that will have the same effect as an original manual paper signature in reference to the Photo/Video release, COVID-19 policies, and general waiver.
